The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
We are looking for an EHS Operator to join our team! This position reports to the EHS Manager in our new and growing Fort Worth, TX facility, and supports cross-functional teams and EHS committees to improve site EHS performance and compliance.
You’ll make a difference by:
- Assist in monitoring, training, and auditing activities to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and foster a strong safety culture.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct routine workplace safety inspections, hazard assessments, and environmental monitoring; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Support investigations of workplace incidents, near misses, and environmental releases; gather data, assist with root cause analysis, and track corrective actions.
- Deliver and assist with safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and new hire orientations on EHS topics.
- Maintain accurate EHS records, compile metrics, and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory agencies as required.
- Support initiatives such as PPE compliance, waste management, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, confined space entry, and emergency preparedness.
- Participate in projects aimed at reducing risk, improving ergonomics, or enhancing environmental sustainability efforts.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing/Warehouse or related field in an EHS role.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and work optimally with all levels of the organization.
- Well organized and efficient task execution.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and general safety practices.
- Proficient computer skills including Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 (diploma required) and work knowledge of OSHA, EPA and local regulations and reporting.
- Strong writing capabilities, especially with clear writing, concise EHS procedures.
- Certified Safety Specialist (CSP) certification, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) certification.
- Previous Union Settings.

The pay range for this position is $51,800 - $88,800 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
