This will be your impact.
  • Lead accounting analyses for innovative business models, focusing on software and digitalization initiatives, ensuring compliance with IFRS 
  • Take a central role in M&A projects across Digital Industries, including Digital Industries Software, with topics ranging from due diligence, complex accounting questions, and purchase price allocations (PPAs)
  • Provide competent support and advice to our business units on accounting for complex transactions and exercising governance functions
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders across headquarters, business units, international accounting hubs, and external auditors
  • Actively identify critical accounting and closing issues and driving implementation within required timeframes, while ensuring audit-proof documentation with relevant stakeholders 

This is how you'll win us over:
  • Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, focusing on international accounting, auditing, or finance
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Extensive experience in auditing, valuation consulting, or corporate accounting
    • Expert knowledge of IFRS standards
    • Experience in revenue recognition under IFRS – knowledge of software business and its accounting specificities is a significant plus
    • Experience in M&A related accounting topics (e.g., valuations and Purchase Price Allocations)
    • High level of responsibility and active management of accounting and valuation aspects in M&A projects 
    • Professional certifications (CPA, CVA, CFA) or PhD advantageous
  • Ways of working: 
    • Known for analytical and thorough work, particularly regarding accounting policies/standards
    • Confident presence in international environment
    • Strong willingness to develop professionally and actively learn new subject matters
    • Standout colleague with impressive presence and excellent communication skills
    • Ability to present complex content in a business-friendly manner
  • Languages: Business proficiency in English; German skills are highly welcome
