About the Role:

In this critical role, you will be responsible for defining, driving, and executing the performance and scalability strategy for Teamcenter. You'll lead a team of dedicated engineers, ensuring that our software not only meets but exceeds the performance expectations of our global customers, from small businesses to large enterprises. Your work will directly impact user experience, system stability, and the overall success of our Teamcenter deployments worldwide.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of performance and scalability engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.

Strategy & Roadmap: Define and drive the performance and scalability strategy for Teamcenter, including setting objectives, key results (OKRs), and a clear roadmap for improvements.

Performance Engineering: Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of performance, load, and scalability tests for Teamcenter components and integrated solutions.

Bottleneck Identification & Resolution: Proactively identify performance bottlenecks across the entire Teamcenter stack (client, application server, database, network) and collaborate with development teams to implement effective solutions.

Architectural Review: Provide expert guidance on architectural decisions, design patterns, and best practices to ensure performance and scalability are built into the product from the ground up.

Tooling & Automation: Drive the selection, implementation, and enhancement of performance testing tools, monitoring systems, and automation frameworks.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support teams to understand requirements, prioritize issues, and communicate performance insights.

Customer & Field Engagement: Engage with key customers and field teams to understand real-world performance challenges and provide expert advice and solutions.

Reporting & Metrics: Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing regular updates on the performance posture of Teamcenter.

Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance engineering and scalability.
