What Makes Our Process Different?

What Will Your Day Look Like? 

You’ll be based in Hebburn, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week in the office to help you learn, connect, and thrive. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility depending on business needs and the nature of the work. 

 

Your role will include: 

  • Designing microprocessor and Windows-based systems, automated test systems, and system integration.  
  • Contributing to the design and development of embedded systems and PC tools from concept to delivery.  
  • Developing software for embedded systems and products and provide ongoing support.  
  • Innovating new solutions for power transmission and distribution networks, including PC tools.  
  • Implementing key features and take ownership of design responsibilities.  
  • Collaborating on international developments across various Siemens business units. 

 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently studying towards a degree in Software Engineering or a similar subject area. 
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present ideas and results clearly.  
  • Enjoys tackling challenges with a natural curiosity and drive to find effective solutions. 
  • Experience with C#, C, C++, .NET, Python, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Microsoft Office, and Windows development is beneficial but not essential.  
  • Knowledge of object-oriented and agile software design is also beneficial.
