Join the Product & Lifecycle Excellence Team as a visionary Business Process Manager and lead the transformation of our Product Evolution Process (PEP) framework within Siemens Smart Infrastructure Building.
We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation across the entire Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from idea generation to product archiving with a strong emphasis on the development phase, including requirements engineering and market introduction. Your responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Championing the vision and execution of ONE PLM Process framework (PEP Next Generation) initiative, consolidating end-to-end PLM processes across multiple Technology Units. Continuously evaluate and align the PEP framework with evolving organizational goals. Keep the Product Lifecycle journey at the core, identifying gaps and driving targeted improvements. Position PEP as a strategic compass that promotes simplicity, product excellence, and customer-centricity.
- Process Design & Optimization: Rethink and modernize operating models within PEP. Lead process mapping and redesign efforts, bridging current and future states. Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor process models that empower business units and enhance agility.
- Leadership in change: Lead PEP Change Control Boards, defects management, ensuring consistency and governance across process updates. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration on process design and change implementation. Oversee the release cycle of PEP updates, ensuring smooth adoption and alignment.
- Regulatory adherence: Seamlessly integrate evolving standards and regulations into the PEP framework. Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements.
- Global representation: Represent Building at Siemens Corporate level, contributing to cross-functional solutions and global process communities. Maintain alignment between Siemens-wide process frameworks and our PLM excellence initiatives. Drive and maintain a tool approach to integrate corporate processes into PEP.
- Effective change management and communication: Develop and execute rollouts and clear communicate PEP updates, and initiatives. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create targeted training content and comprehensive enablement materials.
Your talents and experience:
Essential Skills:
- Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Business Process Management (job experience or qualification)
- Proficiency in Project Management tools (Jira, Confluence, IBM JAZZ, M365 Suite)
- Good understanding of (ISO 9001, IEC 27001, CMMI, ITIL, HW/SW/SaaS/Services solutions)
- Personal experience in applying Agile working methods (SAFe, Less, Scrum, Kanban)
- Change management experience or qualification of creating concepts and operationalization for training material
- Experience with complex business processes and operating practices of complex software & technology organization

- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, resilient, and a continuous learner
- Excellent written and spoken English (good German knowledge)
