Role Headline
In the role of Industry Developer – IoT & Digitalization, you shall possess as Technical Promoter to market development for IoT & Digitalization solutions and use-cases, with proactive approach for generating new leads and business opportunities by presenting, demonstrating IoT solutions with clear value propositions with aim to generate business from market. You will be decisive technical expert in your function & allocated region handling following roles & responsibilities. 

Responsibilities of the Role
Technical promotion, demonstration & prescription of IoT/ Digitalization solutions and use-cases across Power utilities (Public / Private), Industries & Infra segments. 
Responsible for achieving sales targets for IoT/ Digitalization portfolio 
Preparing techno-commercial offers for IoT/ Digitalization solutions
Order booking in consultation with regional sales and finance team and handing over to project management team. 
Maintaining & updating record of all MIS data, leads, projects with high quality inputs. 
Mapping upcoming projects & investments in various segments during early stages of project conception via proactive customer engagements.
Conduct Presentations / demonstrations / workshops/ factory visits to customers for generating project leads.   
Constant engagement with technical consultants & PMCs through persuasive, collaborative and consultative selling approach
Supporting front end Regional Sales teams by driving prescription actions & technical support for IoT/ Digitalization.
Gather market knowledge on competitor products & suitably strategize with their strengths & weakness. 
Conduct periodic review meetings together with regional sales, vertical managers and other business segments to promote seamless collaboration & identify new projects well in advance.
Participation in Industry Events / Fairs / Customer days to promote IoT/ Digitalization portfolio

What we are looking for is
Candidate with Bachelor or Master’s Degree (full time) in Electrical Engineering. 
Having 8-10 years of relevant experience in role of Pre-sales, Business development, prescription function, technical sales support, tendering activities on medium voltage switchgears & solutions, out of which minimum 2years of relevant experience in handling Digitalization/IoT solutions and concepts.
Knowledge of wireless/ wired sensor technologies for collecting data like Temp, PD, Humidity used in creating overall IoT based solutions like condition monitoring of MV switchgears, energy management, tracking line faults, protection devices management 
Good knowledge of communication protocols, system architecture, gateways and cyber security standards
Basic knowledge of IEC standards pertaining to medium voltage switchgears, Protection relays, RTUs and other IEDs used in electrical networks
Knowledge of Power system networks, Primary and Secondary Medium voltage Air and Gas insulated switchgears, Protection & Automation concepts
Well versed in preparing value proposition-based presentations for an effective technical pitch  
Flexible for frequent business trips across country based on the allocated tasks, business needs & activities.
Skills for maintaining business relationships at all levels in customer organisation
Should be Self-starter, target driven approach, strong desire for generating business with consultative selling approach. 
Fast learnability as key competence, good verbal and written communication skills with growth mindset
