What is this opportunity?
This role focuses on Digital Business Development within the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace. You will manage relationships with marketplace sellers, ensuring their success and driving growth through strategic engagement, portfolio management, and marketing initiatives. The position requires collaboration across multiple business units (Smart Infrastructure and Digital Industries) and global teams to accelerate joint market opportunities and enhance the Siemens partner ecosystem.
This position is ideally suited for a self-motivated and collaborative individual as you will be conducting many benchmarking activities and communicating with various stakeholders, both locally and globally. What will you do?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketplace & Seller Success
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned sellers, ensuring satisfaction and growth.
- Support sellers with listing, positioning, and selling via the Siemens Xcelerator platform.
- Develop success plans and identify new business opportunities through joint engagement.
Portfolio Management
- Manage the regional portfolio of offerings and align initiatives with global strategy.
- Tailor solutions to meet regional market demands and collaborate with business units for integration.
- Analyze market opportunities and lead strategies to drive portfolio growth.
Strategic Partner Acquisition
- Scout and evaluate new marketplace sellers and innovative solutions.
- Align partner value propositions with Siemens’ digital portfolio to create joint offerings.
- Foster partnerships for co-development of industry-specific solutions.
Ecosystem Engagement & Market Acceleration
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders and sellers.
- Drive joint market engagement initiatives to unlock new business opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of sellers.
Marketing & Communications
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform strategies.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and content for digital channels.
- Manage creation, translation, and distribution of internal and external communications.
- Track campaign performance and support web development activities.
Executive Support
- Provide communications and activation support to senior leadership as needed.
What will you need to succeed?
Experience / Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive long-term success.
- 2 - 4 years’ previous experience in marketing and communications, including managing complex sales cycles and multiple partners.
- Demonstrated success in identifying new revenue streams and driving partner growth.

- Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making to identify opportunities and measure success.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for influencing and collaborating across departments.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite and social media management.
- Ability to analyze data and leverage insights for business development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite applications.
