You’ll make an impact by
- Develop, present, and document IP strategies and analyses, with a focus on market, technology, and innovation analysis
- Collaborate closely with strategists, technologists, and experts from different businesses, building strong and trustful relationships
- Maintain a flexible and positive attitude towards change, including organizational development, by adapting thoughtfully to new challenges, technologies, and evolving business needs
- Actively participate in shaping the strategic direction of the department
- Provide strategic advice on IP-related matters
- Actively engage with AI tools and digital solutions, fostering an open and responsible approach to AI in daily work
- Commission and supervise internal & external IP searches
- Support strategic aspects of M&A processes
- Contribute to the development of methods and tools for strategic patent work (e.g., IP portfolio management, innovation analysis, opportunity and risk analyses)
- Promote a strategic & collaborative mindset within the IP department
You excel in
- Successfully completed master's degree, preferably in one of the following fields:
- Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering
- Strategic Management, Innovation Management, Technology Management
- Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Physics, Business Informatics or comparable qualification with a strategic focus
- Long term experience in strategic planning, innovation and/or technology management
- Ability to approach IP topics from a business and strategic perspective and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to quickly grasp complex issues and analyze them effectively
- Decision-making ability, customer orientation, and communication skills
- Intercultural competence and experience collaborating with international teams
- Organizational skills and networking abilities
- Proactive attitude towards digital transformation and AI adoption
- Several years of job-specific professional experience
- Professional IP experience is desirable (e.g., as a European Patent Attorney)
- Domain Expertise in relevant Siemens businesses
- Excellent German and English language skills
