We are looking for Component Manager Interior Subsystem

You’ll make a difference by

  • In your new role in Service Engineering in the Interior subsystem, you will be responsible for rail vehicle systems such as gangways, doors, air conditioning systems, etc.
  • In this way, you will actively represent the technical and commercial interests of the Customer Service division along the product development process.
  • As a permanent team member, you will be responsible for secure and competitive life cycle data for the components installed in our vehicles.
  • Together with the internal Purchasing and Vehicle Design departments, you will coordinate the finding of solutions in the selection of suppliers in the sense of an optimal project result, both in the project business and in the submission of offers.
  • As a trade-specific maintenance specialist in their field, they act as a global contact for the spare parts business and service projects alike and are independently responsible for the development of various service strategies and their implementation.
  • In addition, with the aim of optimal maintenance, you will create the necessary serviceability requirement profiles and optimize them for different vehicle platforms over the product life cycle.
  • Through regular exchange with our colleagues in the depots, you will constantly keep an eye on your components over their entire service life and continuously incorporate their operational field experience into the internal trade specification.

Desired Skills:

  • You have successfully completed a master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or automotive engineering.
  • You already have initial professional experience in the service environment and/or engineering of rail vehicles.
  • You are familiar with the term’s spare parts management / maintenance / life cycle cost analyses.
  • Practical experience with SAP and in-depth knowledge of the use of Excel are an advantage.
  • You speak German and English fluently and enjoy working in a team.
