We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work as a member of the EDA Bridge team in the field of Electronics Cooling.

The role involves designing, developing, debugging, and supporting core software with a strong emphasis on architecture evaluation and evolution. Collaboration will be key, working closely with product managers, software engineers, and QA engineers located across the US and Europe. The team fosters a culture of continuous growth, knowledge sharing, and mutual support.

You will make a difference by

• Supporting and improving current software for EDA Bridge desktop applications.

• Creating, refactoring and maintaining current software to the highest quality software development standards.

• Collaborating with team members, both software and QA engineers. Team members are encouraged to share and receive constructive feedback in a way that promotes growth, appreciation, and a sense of belonging.

• Working with team members from the US, UK, and other European countries.

• Coordinating with product owners and managers to ensure requirements are clearly defined, successfully delivered, and meet expectations.

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive unit test coverage to support software quality and stability.

• Laying the technical foundation for transitioning the current application from desktop to the cloud.

Your success is grounded in

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/software engineering or related discipline.

• Excellent programming skills in C# with experience developing large software systems.

• Experience developing complex desktop GUI applications, particularly with WPF/MVVM and for engineering/scientific applications.

• Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code, and CMake experience.

• Proven ability to design and implement modular software architectures that support long-term flexibility and fulfill non-functional requirements.

• Proactive mindset with strong discipline and the ability to set and pursue personal goals and work consistently towards them in a dynamic environment.

This will help you thrive

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience using version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.

• Exposure to programming languages and data formats including C++, Python, XML, and JSON.

• Understanding 2D/3D CAD systems and how they integrate with software workflows.

• Knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) design.

• Experience with electronic design automation (EDA) tools used in PCB design.

• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar continuous integration/build systems.

• Initial working knowledge of cloud or web-based development.

• Interest in transitioning into cloud architecture within 1-2 years.
