Apply now for the Junior Communications Executive (Protégé) position and play a key role in the Malaysia team. You will support the daily operations of the Marketing Communications & Digital Engagement team.

This is an administrative and execution focused position that requires consistency, reliability, and strong attention to detail. You will contribute to campaign execution, creative production, reporting, content management, and event coordination.

Because this role is designed as a developmental trainee position, it requires humility, accountability, and patience. You will receive structured guidance and exposure but must be ready to perform foundational tasks that support the department’s core functions.

Your Role:
Operational & Administrative Support (Primary Focus)
  • Perform daily administrative and execution tasks including documentation, scheduling logistics coordination, data entry, and file management.
  • Support approvals routing and ensure adherence to branding, corporate, and compliance governance.
  • Maintain inventory logs, content records, budgeting sheets, and internal communication workflows.
  • Prepare accurate monthly reports, campaign summaries, content trackers, and basic analytics.
  • Support smooth department operations through disciplined and detail-oriented execution.
Photography, Videography & Creative Production - A major requirement of this role
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos at events, interviews, and key initiatives.
  • Edit videos include trimming, sequencing, color correction, audio balancing, adding subtitles, and basic transitions.
  • Apply strong visual judgement in composition, lighting, framing, and storytelling.
  • Organize and manage media libraries, ensuring proper storage and cataloguing.
Graphic Design & Brand Aligned Collateral Development
  • Design communication materials including posters, banners, social media content, brochures, emailers, and internal assets.
  • Demonstrate strong visual aesthetics, including layout balance, typography and color discipline.
  • Ensure full compliance with Siemens Healthineers’ global brand guidelines while remaining visually appealing and purposeful.
  • Adapt designs across print, digital, web and event formats while maintaining brand integrity.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Support
  • Assist in executing digital campaign via tools such as Eloqua and internal platforms like SharePoint intranet.
  • Upload, schedule, tag, and format content for digital channels.
  • Collect performance data and produce post-campaign analytical summaries with basic insight.
  • Stay informed on communication trends and apply platform-appropriate practices in a corporate appropriate and compliant manner.
Event Support & Coordination
  • Support internal and external events including staff engagements, exhibitions, customer programs, and workshops.
  • Assist with logistics planning, vendor coordination, material preparation, and onsite execution.
  • Capture event photos/ videos and support related content development.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining an internal Event Management App using Power Apps (training provided).
Website & Internal Platform Support
  • Upload and update approved content on internal communication portals and selected external webpages.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all published content.

Your Expertise:

Technical Skills
  • Basic to intermediate photography, videography, and video editing skills.
  • Good working knowledge of design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and aesthetic judgement.
  • Awareness of modern communication formats and platforms, balanced with corporate expectations.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, digital tools, and workflows.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.
Expected Personal Traits
  • Humble, grounded, and eager to learn – essential for this trainee role.
  • Disciplined, accountable, and consistent in execution.
  • Hands on, proactive and willing to support both creative, and administrative tasks.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Creative and able to work within strict corporate branding frameworks.
  • Comfortable supporting events, including occasional weekends activities.
  • Committed to completing the full 12 month Protégé program.
  • Protege pay would be RM2,000 per month with PERKESO deduction.
