Financial Analyst III

Position Overview
This Siemens DI SW role reports to the leadership of the Global Technical Infrastructure (GTI) function within the Technology & Innovation organization and is responsible for all financial related matters. The individual conducts financial analysis of operating results, budgets, and business plans to assess cost efficiency and productivity. The position also prepares forecasts and evaluates industry and broader economic trends while operating with minimal supervision. This role provides the opportunity to design and implement comprehensive programs and controls that support various business requirements.
Responsibilities
• Support the Global Technical Infrastructure (GTI) organization in all financial related activities
• Serve as the financial controller for centralized CAPEX investments, partnering with business and procurement teams to streamline processes and improve tracking of budgets versus actual spending
• Perform controlling and reporting of Altair and Dotmatics operating and integration expenses within GTI
• Manage multiple global stakeholders in complex, cross functional environments
• Conduct financial analysis of actuals, forecasts, and budgets
• Lead special projects and perform targeted analysis within the R&D environment
• Plan and guide short and long term financial objectives
• Maintain and implement corporate financial policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve cost positions and drive execution
• Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful analysis of business results
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business
• 5+ years of professional experience in Finance, ideally within DISW
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle Essbase; solid knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Planning and SAP
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong interest in automating recurring tasks and reports; experience with Microsoft Power Apps (e.g., Power BI) or similar tools (e.g., Knime, Qlik)
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting transactions, and financial analysis processes

The pay range for this position is $84,000 - $151,200 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
