You’ll make a difference by:
  • Post-Payroll Reconciliation & Validation: Performing thorough post-payroll reconciliation and validation activities to ensure accuracy and identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • GL Posting Review & Payroll Journal Controls: Reviewing General Ledger (GL) postings specifically related to payroll and implementing robust payroll journal controls to maintain data integrity and compliance.
  • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations: Executing timely and accurate balance sheet account reconciliations for all payroll-related accounts, ensuring financial statements are precise.
  • Variance Analysis & Issue Resolution: Conducting detailed variance analysis to investigate and resolve any identified payroll discrepancies or complex issues promptly and effectively.
  • Month-End Close & Management Reporting: Actively participating in month-end close activities, including preparing and contributing to management reporting for payroll-related metrics and reconciliations.
  • Accruals, Provisions & True-Ups: Managing and processing payroll-related accruals, provisions, and true-ups to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Supporting and performing other assigned tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the finance and payroll functions.

Your Defining Qualities:

  • Proven Payroll Reconciliation Expertise: Demonstrated and have 2-3 years of experience in payroll reconciliation, specifically managing payrolls for multiple countries.
  • Payroll & Tax Knowledge: Solid knowledge of payroll-related tax and legislative processes, including equity.
  • Strong Accounting Acumen: Have accounting background and understanding of accounting principles are preferred, along with knowledge of HR and payroll business processes.
  • Advanced System Proficiency:
    • Experience with Workday is highly preferable.
    • Proficient in SAP R/3 and SAP HANA.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge in macro and scripting is a distinct advantage.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization, alongside proficiency in both written and verbal English.
  • Customer-Centric & Quality Focused: Strong customer service skills with a dedicated focus on quality and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Organized & Deadline-Driven: Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Proactive & Collaborative: A collaborative team player who can also work independently, demonstrating a high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion.
