We are looking for: Senior IT Provider Management Professional

You’ll break new ground by:

  • Define and implement the IT Provider Management governance framework - within the DI IT framework and in alignment with DI IT provider management team - on strategic, tactical and operational level.
  • Define and maintain the ERP function specific sourcing strategy in alignment with the Leadership team, adapting to demand situation, technology and market conditions, and leading the preferred provider strategy.
  • Implement the sourcing strategy, supporting provider selection and respective negotiations and ensuring alignment with business and DI IT strategy and business outcome objectives.
  • Measure and supervise provider performance, define cost savings potential, review service levels consistency, perform benchmarks, develop clear reporting, chip in to supplier rating, ensuring contract compliance and managing claims and partner concerns (tactical level).
  • Lead and control - including estimates and invoices - daily service delivery, tracking issues, coordinating problem resolution, customer concern management, steer and handle provider resource on- and offboarding, and ensuring service quality and reliability (operational level).
  • Collaborate closely with providers and partners, maintaining clear communication and building positive relationships with providers.
  • Lead contract changes including transparency on requirements, positioning and embedding in existing contract landscape, coordination of change lifecycle (request / offer / compliance / ISEC / order / controlling).
  • Facilitate and handle efficient communication between internal teams and provider / contract contacts, and develop a true and positive relationship.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

  • 15+ years’ experience in IT with solid experience in Provider Management.
  • Qualified B.E / BTech / MCA or equivalent from reputed institute.
  • Strategic Provider and Vendor Management, with a validated ability to establish, govern, and grow long-term partnerships across global locations.
  • End-to-end contract lifecycle management, including tender setup, commercial negotiations, SLA/critical metric definition, and ongoing performance governance.
  • Strong partner communication and presentation skills, enabling confident interaction with senior business and IT leaders in sophisticated and challenging environments.
  • Commercial skill with experience navigating enterprise processes, financial controls, and analytics-driven decision-making.
  • IT Service Delivery leadership across ERP landscapes and software development environments, including low-code platforms and test management.
  • Deep understanding of service management frameworks (ITIL) and hands-on experience driving operational perfection and continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in agile and waterfall project management, optimally delivering large-scale, global initiatives.
  • Proven understanding of information security, IT compliance, and data protection regulations, aligned with internal and external governance requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital and IT strategies, business processes in SCM, M&S, master data management, and their integration with CRM and PLM.
  • Proven ability to operate optimally in VUCA environments, employing moderation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Extensive experience collaborating within global, multicultural teams, particularly across Germany, Czech Republic, the United States, and India.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning capabilities, coupled with creative thinking to define innovative solutions.
  • Capability to work independently and delivery-focused, always aligned with organizational policies and business outcomes.
  • Fluency in English with the ability to collaborate in international settings; German language skills as an added advantage.
  • Understanding of German labor regulations and operational constraints within global delivery models.
