Signalling Hardware Engineering Manager

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
- Engineering, integration, configuration, testing, commissioning, and support of Siemens WESTRACE interlocking systems.
- Hands-on work with multiple generations of WESTRACE systems (MK1 & MK2).
- Engineering and support of Axle Counter systems (ACM 200 & ACM 250).
- Installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of signalling hardware and network systems.
- Hardware integration and system validation using WESTCAD and MoviolaW tools.
- Design, configuration, and troubleshooting of signalling-related IP and serial communication networks.
- Support for FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities.
- Fault diagnosis and corrective actions for hardware, wiring, and interface issues.
- Coordination with design, project, and site teams to meet project and safety requirements.
- Preparation and review of technical documentation, test procedures, and commissioning reports.
- Ensuring compliance with railway signalling standards, safety regulations, and Siemens engineering practices.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, or Railway Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience on mainline signalling projects.
- Proven experience with Siemens WESTRACE MK1 and MK2 interlocking systems.
- Hands-on experience with Axle Counter systems ACM 200 and ACM 250.
- Proficiency in WESTCAD and MoviolaW.
- Strong understanding of signalling hardware architecture and system interfaces.
- Experience with network systems including RuggedCom routers and switches.
- Knowledge of IP addressing, VLAN configuration, and network diagnostics.
- Familiarity with FAT, SAT, and site commissioning processes.
- Ability to independently carry out fault rectification activities.
- Knowledge of railway signalling standards and site safety practices.
- Siemens WESTRACE certification or formal training is preferred.
- Associate IRSE membership is an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s license required for work-related travels.
