You'll make an impact by
- You'll be responsible in managing the entire product lifecycle journey for assigned products, making sure they align with business goals and targets. This includes identifying portfolio opportunities and optimizing the product portfolio based on customer needs (e.g. special variants, project-specific solutions), while you ensure control of product and portfolio complexity.
- You'll contribute to achieving global targets for sales and profit by helping to define pricing strategies and monitoring product performance. You'll also work with different teams to validate the product's business model.
- You'll work with the team on developing and maintaining the product roadmap, translating customer feedback and market insights into new product features. Staying updated on industry trends and proposing improvements will also be part of your role.
- You'll support strategies for launching products globally and support the sales team with product information and technical expertise. Engaging with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs will be key.
- Within Operational Product Management, you'll specifically focus on parts of the Low Voltage Switching Devices family (like overload relays, contactors, and accessories) and work closely with Sales, Development, Marketing, and other global teams.
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience and Skills:
- Several years of professional experience in electromechanical / low-voltage switchgear, with a strong focus on sales-related and customer-facing activities.
- Knowledge of the industrial electrical market, including applications, customer needs, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
- Experience in electromechanical / low-voltage switchgear, with a strong focus on sales-related and customer-facing activities.
- Experience contributing to cross-functional and strategic projects, particularly in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing would be beneficial.
- Ways of Working: Strong affinity for innovation and product management, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and strategic commercial thinking. Analytical skills and a structured approach to work, with the ability to balance technical depth, market understanding, and business impact. Intercultural experience and effectiveness in an international environment, with a team-oriented personality and stakeholder management skills.
- Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English and German round off your profile.
