You’ll create impact by
- Operational Execution of Frameworks
- Implementing the 2nd Tier Strategy to actively manage raw materials across our supply chains, ensuring resilience, sustainability, and productivity.
- You drive the integration of 2nd tier conditions into 1st tier contracts and act as the key operational contact for Siemens wide pooling activities.
- Demand Collection & Consolidation
- Collecting and consolidation of demand planning for 2nd tier materials to ensure active material management in alignment with global pooling objectives
- Supplier Engagement & Development
- Engaging 1st tier suppliers to strengthen alignment with Siemens’ pooling objectives and fostering collaboration between 1st tier and raw material (2nd tier) suppliers.
- Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensuring risk mitigation and compliance across the supply chain (1st and 2nd tier suppliers) by applying contractual frameworks and regional compliance requirements
- Material optimization
- Partnering with Corporate Commodity Engineering (CCE) and cross functional teams to ensure technical alignment, support material specification requirements, and build an end to end ecosystem that strengthens resilience, productivity, and sustainability.
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: A master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Experience & Skills:
- Many years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement roles with a proven ability to apply analytical thinking, lead negotiations, and manage diverse stakeholders effectively while connecting complex organizational dots.
- Hands on expertise in multi tier supplier networks, commodity strategies, and the operational execution of complex frameworks.
- A strong track record of turning plans into impactful results through consistent implementation and follow through.
- Ability to anticipate challenges, create clarity, remove impediments, and develop actionable mitigation strategies.
- Ways of working:
- Clear and confident communication skills, fostering teamwork and shared success in cross functional environments.
- Experience in guiding smooth transitions, enabling adoption of new processes, and embedding change effectively. Demonstrated courage and ambition to support Siemens’ and SCM PD’s transformation journey.
- A global mindset that promotes diversity and international collaboration.
- Languages: Fluency in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is highly valued
