About the Job

As a Senior BI Engineer, you will be a key player in our data-driven decision-making process. You'll bridge the gap between raw data from our Snowflake data warehouse and actionable insights for stakeholders across the company. Your work will be a hybrid of BI development, data visualization, and strategic analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build, deploy, and maintain robust Business Intelligence solutions, including dashboards and custom reports.
• Develop insightful and user-friendly dashboards and visualizations using modern BI tools (e.g., Superset, Tableau, Power BI). You will be expected to learn and become an expert on Superset.
• Perform deep-dive analysis to answer complex business questions and translate high-level business needs into technical data requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain the semantic reporting layer for the BI platform by writing expert-lel SQL to create star schemas and data marts from our Snowflake gold-layer data.

Requirements

• 5 +years of exp asHigh proficiency in Python for data processing, manipulation, transformation, and analysis, including OOP (classes, objects, methods, etc). You will be expected to use Python to build custom solutions that extend BI tool capabilities (e.g., creating paginated/pixel-perfect reports).
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and working with cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake.
• Proven experience developing reports and dashboards in BI tools like Superset (preferred), Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Experience working in an agile environment with a distributed, international team.
• Familiarity with Python libraries for reporting and application development, such as ReportLab or Streamlit.
