Responsibility for regional Supply Market Intelligence for Siemens Ltd, India and its subsidiaries which includes the following key areas:

·       Identify new supply market intelligence data and information: Actively search for both quantitative and qualitative market insights specific to the region.

·       Prepare and analyze market data: Independently gather, consolidate, and evaluate comprehensive market data, analyses, and scenarios from external sources relevant to the region.

·       Develop price models and forecasts: Create robust price models using methods such as correlation analyses, develop mathematical-based forecasts, regularly refine them, and validate their accuracy through back-testing.

·       Enhance and promote central Supply Market Intelligence platforms: Ensure the distribution and effective utilization of platforms like the Market Intelligence Cockpit (MIC) and the Market Intelligence Cockpit Assistant (MICA) in the region, while contributing innovative ideas for continuous improvements.

·       Maintain up-to-date market data: Regularly update and verify the accuracy of all relevant market information within Supply Market Intelligence platforms.

·       Content creation for newsletters and webcasts: Generate region-specific content to enrich the SMI newsletter and webcasts.

·       Provide first-level support on inquiries: Offer prompt assistance with market and price data inquiries for the region, aiding efforts such as negotiation preparations and strategy development.

·       Contribute to special projects: Analyze and provide actionable insights for ad hoc issues like economic crises, geopolitical events, or sanctions.

·       Collaborate proactively with the global team: Ensure alignment of all activities with the central Supply Market Intelligence team in Germany (SCM FE SMI).

·       Driving digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of market intelligence processes and reporting.

·       You come with 10+ years of experience.

·       You hold a Master’s degree in General Management, Business Development, Business Administration/Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline.

·       You bring proven expertise in Market Intelligence or Supply Chain Management (SCM).

·       You have a strong interest in current economic and political trends worldwide, with the ability to integrate these developments into your work responsibilities.

·       You possess advanced proficiency in Excel, and a general affinity for working with IT tools and solutions.

·       You demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities, clear and persuasive communication skills, a dependable work ethic, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

·       You are fluent in English, with the ability to effectively communicate in a professional environment.

·       You possess strong analytical thinking, effective communication, adaptability, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to interpret market data, present insights, and drive informed procurement decisions.
