Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

  • Create programs and operate CMM equipment to inspect Turbine Blades & other turbine parts per engineering specifications.
  • Proficient in reading & Interpreting drawings / standards.
  • Proficient in GD & T, MSA & SPC.
  • Expert in using measuring instruments like micrometer, vernier, height gauge etc.
  • Knowledge of NX software will be an added advantage.

·       Recommend/design inspection fixtures or gages for production purposes.

·       Complete and maintain detailed and accurate dimensional inspection reports and analysis of inspection data.

·       Maintain safety and quality standards using acceptable housekeeping practices and 5s processes on equipment and work area.

·       NCR Management and drive RCA/8D to prevent re-occurrence.                                                         

·       Implement / Maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy in respective areas on a day-today basis.

·       Prepare Critical to Quality (CTQ) dimension sheet for steam turbine critical components.

·       Ensure the On Time Inspection of the components being manufactured in house.

·       Be a part of site complaints and lesson learnt team and implement the product measures before dispatch.

·       Add CTQs based on lessons learnt from past failures and site complaints.

·       Maintain a healthy working environment while working with Cross Functional Team.

·       Be a part of lean initiative for in process quality to ensure quality and productivity.

·       Be a part of digitization initiatives for in process quality.

·       Log non-conformance where deviations are identified and ensure proper closure of non-conformance within manufacturing closure

Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering having 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
  • Hands on Turbine components manufacturing and testing.
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • You have basic knowledge of QC tools.
  • You are collaborative and decision maker.
  • You have good knowledge in NCR management and lessons learn.
