We’re currently seeking a Junior Protection and Secondary Engineer to join our high-performing Applications and Products team. What you’ll be doing

• Partnering with clients to understand their requirements and develop tailored protection and control solutions
• Providing hands-on expertise in secondary systems integration and device configuration
• Collaborating with customer care and engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges
• Delivering customer training, product updates and high-quality technical documentation
• Staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry developments

What you’ll bring

You may hold a qualification in power systems engineering, or bring equivalent hands-on experience within electrical generation, transmission or distribution. Either way, we’re keen to hear from motivated engineers ready to grow their expertise.

Experience or exposure in the following will be highly regarded:

• SIPROTEC 5 platform, including DIGSI 5 software and hardware
• Reyrolle protection devices
• Secondary protection system design and integration, particularly in HV transmission, transformer or rotating plant applications
• IEC 61850 standards, IED configuration, station bus/process bus design and modern communication protocols
