Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a dynamic and experienced PreSales Solutions Consultant to join our Execution team supporting Energy, Chemicals and Infrastructure, Life Sciences, and Consumer Products & Retail. The primary mission in this role is as a Solution Consultant to represent as a Teamcenter Subject Matter Expert to deliver high quality, value driven solutions, presentations, and messaging of the Xcelerator capabilities to support the prescriptive process with an emphasis to the Energy, Chemicals and Infrastructure industries.


Responsibilities:


Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements, determine business needs and architect appropriate solutions within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.

Utilizing advanced knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation to lead pursuit teams that will prepare and deliver compelling customer experiences in support of selling efforts. 

Maintain excellent knowledge of customer and Industry configuration management processes and strategies.

Establish and build a trusted advisor and credible business and technical consultant relationship with clients and sales executives.

Oversee and guide the client in the selection of appropriate solutions and suites of technology.

Lead the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, proposals and business and technology status reviews (e.g., Technical Review Boards, Management Review Boards).

Lead the construction of meaningful collateral for client requests for information (RFI), proposals (RFP, RFQ, etc.), demonstrations and proof of concept exercises.

Support account orchestrators and pre-sales resources in defining and executing on sales opportunities


Required Background/Skills, Education and Experience:

BS/BA (or relevant Technical Degree) in related engineering, manufacturing, or computer science related discipline.

Excellent verbal group presentation and written communications skills.

Excellent organizational skills that positively influence teams with a common understanding of successful account management principles.

5 + years of expertise using PLM Tools (Teamcenter Preferred).

5 + years of expertise in BOM Management, Change Management, Workflow.

7+ years of experience in PLM space, which includes managing proof of concepts, defining the requirements and scope of PLM Solutions deployment, as well as being part of the selection process.

Must have a proven record of presenting technology solutions in front of groups while incorporating specific selling techniques.

Self-starter, motivated and able to work with a minimum of direct supervision. 

Experience leading teams of technical and business consultants from within, and outside of their formal organization.

Must be able to work remote (virtual office).

Must be open to an average of 30% - 50% travel, mostly domestic.

Must currently reside in the continental USA (Firm requirement)

Preferred Background/Skills, Education and Experience:

10+ years of technical experience in engineering, presales, or consulting services in the Energy, Chemicals and Infrastructure industries.

Experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant or Sales within the Digital Enterprise space.

Proven success and experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering role.

The pay range for this position is $125,300 - $250,600 annually with a target incentive of 12.5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
