Our Siemens business unit Motion Control (DI MC) is one of the world's leading providers of products, systems, solutions, and services in the field of Motion Control. This includes around 20,000 employees and the four business segments. With its global production sites, R&D, and service locations, MC is close to its customers and at home in a wide range of industries. At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics.
We are planning to expand our Oradea plant into an even larger, modern, and more powerful Siemens Mechatronic Competence Center! This isn’t just an expansion; it is a true transformation. As part of this strategic business development, we will be building a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing area in Oradea. This new space will integrate critical parts of our production and associated support functions, creating a unified, high-performance hub for mechatronic expertise within Siemens.
Oradea will become one of Siemens’ key competence centers, with new colleagues joining us, new technologies being implemented, and new capabilities strengthening our overall footprint.
Based in Oradea, we are looking for an Industrial Engineer to help us optimize and manage our industrial engineering activities.
This will be your impact:
Providing coordination and technical expertise necessary for the implementation of new means of manufacturing, changes and optimization within the existing processes and flow production.
Development and implementation of cost reduction projects, continuously updating the layout of production areas and of places for work; participation in FMEA teams and continuous improvement.
Participation or coordination in product and technology transfer projects; concern for continuous improvement of production processes and production flow, implementation of rationalizations.
Ensure the implementation of specific procedures of Integrated Quality Management System in responsibility.
Implementation of action plans resulting from audits, assessment of suggestions for improvement.
Participates in the calculation and definition of the production norms: realization and analysis of time studies, participates in making suggestions for improvement as result of normalizations.
Support integration of new manufacturing simulation tools.
Promote open learning culture.
This is how you'll win us over:
University degree in technical field: Machines Construction Technology / Electro-Mechanics.
Relevant experience in production processes, Industrial and Maintenance Engineering, in Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics.
Basic knowledge regarding organization of places for work, normalization of work and quality systems.
Capacity to work both independently and in teams.
Organized, compelling and responsible person.
Language knowledge: German and /or English – medium level.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
