Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Austin, TX is $133,212 – $180,336 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Assist in the preparation of detailed budgets and financial reports for properties. In conjunction with the operations team, responsible for overseeing, maintenance, administration, and improvement of commercial, industrial, or residential properties. Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects for commercial or residential properties. Meet with clients to negotiate management and service contracts, determine priorities, and discuss the financial and operational status of properties. Solicit and analyze bids from contractors for repairs, renovations, and maintenance. Review rents to ensure that they are in line with rental markets. Assist in the Development of budgets and reports for the region and track performance against budget. Assist in the development of financial planning target setting. Monitor of compliance with accounting standards. Responsible for the accuracy of local financial figures, creation and alignment of financial forecast. Prepare monthly review of bookings and billing, commercial project definition and preparation, including cost/investment calculations, and interface with other team members from the region. Coordinate accounting, legal, tax and insurance related topics, support the Head of Finance for negotiation and prepare external renting and customer lease contracts. Apply the SRE pricing model according to guidelines and monitor construction development projects across the region.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Commercial Property -related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Commercial Property -related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: SAP: Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) and Business Warehouse Modules; Project Controlling: Specifically, providing finance support to Project Teams including project cost tracking, project analysis, status of contracts, open commitments and project close out; Developing feasibility studies and Risk and Opportunities analysis in conjunction with Project Managers; Preparing the annual Budget in collaboration with RAM Head, Operations Managers, Project Managers and Head of Finance; Preparing monthly and quarterly forecast in alignment with target setting and compliance with accounting standards; Preform Financial Analysis including monthly review of bookings and billings; Preparing and analyzing financial results, and providing variance commentaries on a monthly basis to budget and forecast; Preparing and ensuring accuracy of all financial data required for customer reporting meeting and reporting timelines; Supporting negotiation, revision and amendment of Engineering Projects/Lease Contracts by identifying and mitigating contractual risks; Change order management and claim resolution on Projects. Telecommuting within commutable distance and/or working from home is permissible pursuant to company policy. 10% of domestic travel is required. [Hybrid role]
