Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – SPT Invest Management SARL (f/m/d)
About the Position:
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the company and a team of five employees in an investment firm with approx. EUR 2.5 billion under management.
- Full responsibility for investment decisions across various asset classes.
- Member of the internal Investment Committee and oversight of investment performance.
- Accountable for risk management.
- Serve as Director within multiple investment entities.
- Coordinate the selection, assignment, and supervision of a variety of external service providers, especially for investment administration, tax and legal advisory, and accounting.
- Manage capital calls and liquidity.
- Maintain and enhance shareholder communication.
- Design, implement, and continuously monitor the company's internal control system (together with other managing directors).
- Co-review and co-responsibility for regulatory reporting requirements.
- Review and approve invoices and payments.
- Oversee and coordinate special projects.
- Engage in all operational activities of the company.
Your success is grounded in:
- Education
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience & Skills
- Extensive experience in investment and asset management, particularly in private equity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role or as head of an investment firm under Luxembourg law.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including a background in leading cross-functional projects.
- Experience in managing a small legal entity within a group environment.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Lux-GAAP; knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with operating in a regulated entity under Luxembourg law is desirable.
- Languages
- Business fluency in English; proficiency in German and French is highly advantageous.
