Are you a meticulous, solution-oriented Technical Customer Quality Engineer with international experience or ambitions? Then we’re looking for you! In this role, you are the key link between the customer, the project team, and production—ensuring that our high-quality Siemens solutions meet the highest quality standards.

Your role
You will work on international projects (mainly in Europe and Asia) and be responsible for quality inspections, analyzing and resolving quality issues, and improving processes. Together with your team, you safeguard the quality of our products and ensure that errors are prevented—and not repeated. You are a driving force behind our technical quality approach. You strengthen quality awareness within the department and advise management on technical quality improvements, risks, and trends.

Our projects focus on designing and delivering power distribution solutions for national and international customers. The project management and engineering team is based in The Hague and Chennai, while production takes place in several factories worldwide. Projects typically include switchgear, transformers, E-houses, automation, and protection systems. In this role, you will have frequent contact with customers, engineers in our factories, project managers, and lead electrical engineers.

What you’ll do
  • Analyze and resolve quality issues (using tools such as RCA, FMEA, and 8D)
  • Communicate quality issues (KPIs, improvement programs, trends, etc.) with our customers
  • Communicate quality issues with our suppliers regarding corrective and quality improvement.
  • Improve and maintain quality processes
  • Work closely with customers, project teams, and production
  • Develop and monitor preventive and corrective actions

Your background
You have excellent skills in technical quality, communication, and collaboration. With a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach, you know how to effectively implement both corrective and preventive measures. Your strong customer focus and continuous improvement mindset ensure that you keep optimizing processes and always strive for the best results.

What you'll bring
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) as a Quality Engineer in a (preferably electrical) technical environment
  • Familiarity with quality methodologies such as RCA, FMEA, 8D, and audits
  • A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Excellent command of the English language (Dutch is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (15–20%)
  • Driver’s license (Category B).
