Join our team as a System Test Engineer in Johnson City, TN, where you'll be instrumental in system-wide and product-oriented testing across the Siemens Factory Automation ecosystem.

We are looking for a System Test Engineer. This role will be located in Johnson City, TN.
As a System Test Engineer, you’ll make an impact by:
- Validating industrial automation products and systems.
- Automating workflows where possible to improve efficiency and repeatability.
- Documenting test procedures.
- Recording and reporting test results.
- Reproducing customer reported problems and supporting R&D in resolving.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience in verification/validation or quality assurance within industrial or automation environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and adapt testing strategies to evolving requirements.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in system testing, validation, and quality assurance within industrial or automation environments.
- Experience with industrial protocols such as OPC UA, PROFINET, industrial safety (Profisafe).
- Experience with TIA Portal/Step7, S7-PLCSIM, WINCC.
- Experience with programming in high level languages (e.g., C, C#, C++, Python).
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., LAD, SCL).
- ISTQB/ASTQB certificate

The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
