At GBS Finance (FIN), we aim to act as Business Partners side by side with the Management of the Operations that perform these activities contributing with accurate and timely financial records to guide business decision-making.

Your mission will be… 
  • Process customer invoices accurately and within established deadlines;
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal/tax requirements;
  • Validate billing data and resolve discrepancies;
  • Coordinate with Controlling teams for clarifications;
  • Maintain up-to-date records in ERP system (SAP /other);
  • Handle customer queries related to invoicing;
  • Perform month-end closing activities related to billing;
  • Identify optimization opportunities in daily billing processes;
  • Propose improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors;
  • Support the development and update of process procedures and documentation;
  • Participate in automation and digitalization projects;
  • Collaborate with Process Excellence teams on improvement initiatives;
  • Support training of new team members on billing processes.

We are looking for someone with…
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related fields;
  • Alternative: High school diploma + proven relevant experience (minimum 2 years);
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in billing/invoicing;
  • Experience in Shared Service Center environment (preferred but not mandatory);
  • Exposure to process improvement activities or projects (preferred);
  • Track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy;
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar);
  • Good Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation);
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) - minimum B2 level;
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles;
  • Results-oriented and deadline-driven;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability;
  • Proactivity in identifying improvements;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to work autonomously with guidance;
  • Effective communication with different stakeholders;
  • Adaptability to dynamic environments;
  • Team player with collaborative spirit.
