Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Operations Intern to apply their AI expertise to develop prompts, context, and tools as part of a broader team of expert Data Scientists and Software Developers delivering AI and ML capabilities for our internal Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding enterprise business processes and how they can benefit from existing and emerging AI capabilities
- Creating and maintaining reusable prompts, data, bots, and tools for use with general-purpose and custom-built AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Communicating with a broad set of executive business stakeholders, including global sales executives, external vendors, and customers
- Leading global programs focused on delivery and adoption of AI capabilities for Sales roles
Requirements:
- Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, data science, or a related field of study, with undergraduate candidates in their junior or senior year.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and must reside on the U.S. Eastern Coast or Central.
- Candidates must have experience in developing prompts and applying tool integrations from general purpose AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot)
- Candidates should be familiar with emerging implementation patterns for AI, such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP) Servers, and the application of directed and rule-based agents
- Candidates should have basic knowledge of HTML, JSON, and similar markup formats common to AI tool and automation development and at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python)
- Strong candidates will have additional experience or education in business, sales, or data analytics as an accelerator for applying AI and related technologies effectively
- Outstanding candidates will have prior experience with Data and UI in Salesforce or other CRM systems and/or knowledge of Engineering Software

The hourly pay range for this position $23 - $39 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
