Mexican Leadership Development Program

The Mexican Leadership Development Program is an intensive 2-year rotational training program designed to attract the brightest, most driven graduates and nurture their talent through meaningful experiences from day one.

Our goal is to identify individuals who are ready to take on challenging projects and positions. Through cross-functional and cross-location rotations, participants will gain exposure to different businesses, share best practices, build a strong professional network, and develop into the next generation of Siemens leaders.

This program will include 4 positions:

  • 3 positions focused on Engineering, aimed at developing future technical and engineering leaders.
  • 1 position focused on Business, aimed at developing future operations and business leaders.

Over the course of two years, participants will complete four six-month rotational assignments. At the end of each rotation, they will present their results to the Upper Management team located at Siemens US headquarters. In addition, participants will take part in training sessions, mentoring opportunities, and networking events throughout the program.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be assigned to a mid-level position aligned with their profile, interests, performance, and business needs.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Early professional with no more than 1 year of full-time work experience and a minimum GPA of 3.0 (80% Avg.).
  • Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Physical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Fluent English.
  • Flexibility to relocate during the 2-year program and throughout your career.
  • Valid passport and US tourist visa.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a positive approach to challenges.
  • Cross-functional interests, ambition, self-motivation, adaptability, and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-directed learning mindset, strong networking abilities, influencing skills, and a positive, accountable attitude.

Engineering focus

Candidates should have:

  • Experience or demonstrated interest in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Digitalization, Automation, Programming, or Engineering Design through academic projects, internships, extracurricular activities, or work experience.

Business focus

Candidates should have:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities through work experience, internships, extracurricular activities, community involvement, or other initiatives that showcase ownership and responsibility.
