A strategic visionary and transformative leader with extensive, proven experience in Global Business Services (GBS) and Hire-to-Retire (H2R) operations across the Americas. Operational Excellence

  • Direct and optimize end-to-end HR Services and Payroll operations throughout the Americas, ensuring peak performance and efficiency across all regional activities.
  • Guarantee the timely, accurate, and fully compliant delivery of all H2R services, consistently exceeding established service level agreements (SLAs) and internal standards.
  • Preside over service review meetings, expertly resolve complex escalations, and rigorously analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Strategically partner with IT, external vendors, and local teams to proactively identify and implement system and process optimizations that enhance service delivery and user experience.
  • Manage and optimize the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the H2R function, driving productivity enhancements and identifying opportunities for value creation to ensure sustainable growth and financial health.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Uphold and enforce stringent compliance with all regional labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies across the Americas, safeguarding the organization from potential liabilities.
  • Orchestrate and direct comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategies specifically tailored for HR and payroll operations, proactively identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine robust internal controls and audit processes to ensure data integrity, operational security, and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of evolving legislation, industry best practices, and emerging compliance challenges, translating insights into actionable strategies for the H2R function.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Cultivate and strategically manage robust relationships with all external payroll and HR service providers, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and continuous innovation from our partners.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and rigorously oversee vendor performance, guaranteeing strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and driving accountability for exceptional service delivery.
  • Forge and nurture influential partnerships with diverse internal stakeholders across various functions, business units, and regions, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring H2R services are seamlessly integrated and aligned with business needs.
  • Articulate and champion H2R strategies, key initiatives, and critical operational updates to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders, securing buy-in and fostering transparent communication.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Inspire, lead, and empower a diverse, multicultural team across the Americas, fostering a collaborative environment that drives exceptional performance and professional growth.
  • Cultivate a dynamic culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and mindset to excel in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience within Global Business Services (GBS) Hire-to-Retire (H2R) operations
  • 7 years in senior leadership role managing complex, multi-country teams across diverse cultural landscapes.
  • Proven mastery of international payroll complexities, cutting-edge HR service delivery models, and enterprise-level HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), with a track record of leveraging technology for operational excellence.
  • Comprehensive and current understanding of the intricate labor laws, regulatory frameworks, and evolving HR best practices spanning North, Central, and South America, ensuring proactive compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Demonstrated executive-level proficiency in strategic planning, influential communication, complex negotiation, and advanced stakeholder engagement, capable of driving consensus and fostering collaborative success.
  • Mandatory fluency in English
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline, underpinning a robust theoretical and practical foundation
  • Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is highly advantageous, reflecting the regional scope of the role.

The pay range for this position is $129,520 - $222,034 annually with a target incentive of of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
