You will be part of a global team focused on creating high-performance visualization engines for ultrasound products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement mathematical models and simulations for biomedical visualization
  • Analyze blood flow using ultrasound data and advanced visualization techniques
  • Prototype and optimize algorithms using Matlab, Python, or C++
  • Utilize GPU programming for real-time computations and parallel processing
  • Collaborate with team members across locations and contribute to engine development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, or Engineering
  • Specialization in Numerical Methods and Partial Differential Equations (PDEs)
  • Solid understanding of Vector Calculus (Gradient, Divergence, Laplacian)
  • Experience with Finite Difference methods and iterative solvers (e.g., Jacobi iteration)
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Matlab, Python, and/or C++
  • Familiarity with GPU programming (CUDA, OpenGL/GLSL, or DirectX)
  • Knowledge of ultrasound flow field techniques such as Speckle Tracking Echocardiography (STE) or Blood Speckle Imaging (BSI)

Additional Requirements:

  • English language proficiency at B2 level
  • Willingness to work sporadic evening hours
  • Willingness to travel once per month to Kosice or Vienna

Personality Traits:

  • Self-reliant and proactive
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytical thinker
  • Responsible and diligent

Salary: 300 CZK gross/hour (with potential increase based on experience and performance)

How to Apply:

Submit your CV and a brief motivation letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role. We look forward to welcoming a passionate student to our innovative team!
