You‘ll make an impact by:

The Bidding Engineer will be responsible for the preparation of winning cost-effective proposals including all basic design and selection requirements within Siemens Digital Industries Process Automation Projects Portfolio and serving the industrial applications in various market verticals, including Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Pharma, Energy, Consumer Packaged Goods, Water & Wastewater, Cement and Oil & Gas.

  • Bid Project Management for Siemens Digital Industries Projects within the Middle East Region.
  • Lead end-to-end bid process: strategy, approvals, pricing, execution plan, and submission.
  • Develop winning techno commercial proposals, including risk assessment, cash flow, and competition analysis.
  • Coordinate with sales, technical, commercial, and procurement to ensure optimal, compliant solutions.
  • Manage bid financials: costing, pricing strategies, payment terms, and margins.
  • Review and negotiate contract terms with legal and commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and Siemens standards.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, non-disclosure, and legal requirements throughout the bidding process.
  • Lead bid team meetings, manage stakeholders, and maintain client relationships.
  • Prepare and maintain all bid documentation, clarifications, and handover packages.
  • Analyze competition, monitor KPIs, and capture lessons learned to improve winning rates
  • Implementing basic engineering and architectural design of automation systems.
 

Your success is grounded in

  • Bachelor of Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or Equivalent.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in automation systems design, selection, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting with experience in Siemens’ automations systems.
  • Experience in Siemens SIMATIC PCS7 DCS is mandatory with proven track records of preparing winning techno commercial proposals for Oil & Gas Projects.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Digital Industries products i.e. SCADA, PLC, Safety Systems, Instrumentation, Industrial Networking and Variable Speed Drives …. etc.
  • Time and Task Management capabilities.
  • IPMA or PMP Certification will be plus.

Desirable Hands-On Skills:

  • Excel, Word, Power Point, MS-Project, VISIO, and AutoCAD.
  • DCS System Concept and Design Tools.
  • Siemens TIA Portal Tool.
