Siemens Manufacturing Solver development team is looking for an experienced Solver Developer.
Have you ever wondered how things are done? Have you ever heard of Giga-casting? Are you interested in helping top companies in Automotive, Machinery and Manufacturing build their next generation of products.
You will be part of a team that develops software for Multiphysics Simulation applied for different manufacturing processes. This is a very transversal role that will allow you to learn from a great variety of topics and technologies: CFD, Contact Mechanics, AI, High Performance Computing, and of course Manufacturing.
As a Solver Developer you will be involved in the whole process: Meeting with different stake holders to define the needs, modelling the problem, defining the toolset and techniques to be used, implementing and validating the solution.

What You Will Do
As a valued member of our team, you will actively contribute to the development and enhancement of our manufacturing solver, with a particular focus on casting simulation.
You will collaborate with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds to deliver innovative solutions that address real-world challenges, ensuring our technology makes a meaningful difference. From the initial stages of problem definition through development, documentation, and validation, you will take full ownership of your work, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Your commitment to maintaining and refining our existing codebase will help us stay at the forefront of manufacturing simulation.
By engaging with customers to understand their unique needs and providing expert technical guidance, you will empower them to achieve their goals and contribute to a more inclusive and innovative industry.
What You Will Need
· Strong FEM and numerical methods knowledge
· xperience in development of similar solutions
· Advanced knowledge C++ and python. OOP is a must
· Multi-threading
· Version control systems (Git preferred)
· Proficient in English
· Good team player
This will help you thrive
· Knowledge of KratosMultiphysics framework
· Experience + MSc or PhD
· Experience in developing Manufacturing Simulation codes
· Test Driven Development
· Computational Fluid Dynamics
· Development experience in MPI available codes
· Knowledge about AI
· Bonus: Metallurgy or Optimization
