Nordic Data & Process Governance Manager

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is committed to building a truly data-driven and process-excellent Finance organization. To strengthen this ambition, we are seeking a Data & Process Governance Manager for the Electrification & Automation (EA) business unit in the Nordics.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute at the intersection of finance, process design, data governance, and digitalization. It is a chance to shape how Finance operates, both today and in the future.

This position is an excellent match for individuals passionate about end-to-end processes, data integrity, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. Joining this team provides deep insight into the value chain of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, locally and globally, and offers a central role in driving Finance transformation, efficiency, and process standardization across the Nordic EA organization.

This opportunity is ideal for those excited by building structure, driving clarity, optimizing processes, and enabling better decision-making through high-quality financial data and robust governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

The Data & Process Governance Manager will lead initiatives in several critical areas:

  • Finance Process Excellence & Standardization: This involves designing, optimizing, and further developing finance processes from end-to-end. A core aspect will be harmonizing and standardizing processes across countries and teams to ensure consistent ways of working throughout the organization.
  • Data Governance & Compliance: Responsibilities include safeguarding data integrity through clear governance models, establishing ownership, and implementing effective controls. The role ensures alignment with accounting principles, internal guidelines, and ICFR requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation: Identifying process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities is key. The manager will drive automation, digitalization, and Business Intelligence (BI) enhancements to streamline finance value flows.
  • Documentation & Process Transparency: Maintaining clear, up-to-date process documentation, workflows, and guidelines is essential. The role ensures transparency and accessibility of processes for all stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & System Integration: This position acts as a key contact for finance process topics across Finance, IT, and Shared Services in the Nordics. It involves defining system requirements and bridging finance with IT to enable seamless process integration.

How will you win us over?

You are likely to have:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field.
  • Experience in Finance & Controlling, process management, data governance, or business process improvement.
  • A strong understanding of Finance value flows, accounting principles, and reporting structures.
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and SAP systems.
  • A structured, analytical, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex matters in a simple, convincing way.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a growth mindset.

We value diverse professional journeys. If experience has been gained through alternative paths, we encourage applications, as all backgrounds are valuable to us.
