We’re looking for sales leader for Smart Infrastructure Buildings in Malaysia, with full accountability for driving growth through a partner-led go-to-market model. People who want to make a real impact, now and in the future while leading the country sales team to grow the Fire Safety and Building Automation business. Does that sound like you? You’ll make a difference by:
  • Lead Country Sales Organization: Take full responsibility for the Smart Infrastructure Buildings sales team in Malaysia, setting direction, priorities, and performance targets to achieve sustainable growth.
  • Develop Partner Ecosystem: Identify, onboard, and grow System Integrators, distributors, and solution partners to expand market coverage and execution capability across Malaysia.
  • Drive Portfolio Growth: Grow the Fire Safety, Buildings Automation and HVAC Portfolio via partners. Drive the introduction of new portfolio launches by enabling partners to position, sell, and deliver compliant, high-value solutions.
  • Engage Decision Makers: Build strong relationships with consultants, end customers, contractors, and authorities to influence specifications, shape projects early, and establish Siemens as a trusted technology partner.
  • Expand Market Presence: Identify new market segments, projects, and verticals (e.g., commercial buildings, healthcare, data centers, infrastructure) to drive pipeline growth.
  • Deliver Sales & Profit Targets: Own country-level sales performance, pricing discipline, and margin delivery through value-based selling and portfolio optimization.
  • Represent the Business Locally: Act as the senior Smart Infrastructure Buildings representative in Malaysia, ensuring alignment with regional strategy, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Drive Digitalization & New Business Models: Accelerate digital offerings and data-driven solutions by enabling partners to adopt new business models, including software, sustainability offerings and lifecycle-based approaches that create recurring value for customers and partners.
Your defining qualities:
  • Fire Safety & Building Automation Expertise: Strong background in Fire Safety systems is essential, with additional experience in Building Automation considered a strong advantage.
  • Sales Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading sales teams and driving growth in a country or business unit role.
  • Market & Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Malaysian construction and building ecosystem, including consultants, contractors, developers, and authorities.
  • Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Ability to translate strategy into execution, identify growth opportunities, and manage a profitable business.
  • Influential Communicator: Confident in engaging senior stakeholders and positioning complex technical solutions in a clear, value-driven way.
  • People Leader: Hands-on, inclusive leader who develops talent, sets clear expectations, and drives accountability and performance.
