Head of Airport Vertical
- Identification key stakeholders relationships requirements within the airport authorities, consultants and contractors. Frontline all sales and business development activities.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships within the identified target organizations
- Utilize the key stakeholder engagement to position Siemens as the primary technology partner for Fire Safety & BMS and also influence the business model options
- Drive customer engagement and sales efforts aimed at securing contracts for major fire safety installations and building management systems within Changi Airport Terminal 5.
- Influence project specifications to ensure Siemens technologies are optimally positioned.
- Oversee the bid management process for large-scale and highly complex projects, ensuring bid submissions meet the highest standards of quality and competitiveness.
- Identify and mobilize relevant internal Siemens resources and competencies within the Smart Infrastructure Buildings organization.
- Develop and implement Siemens’ fire safety and BMS business strategy for the project, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Develop strategies for partnerships and alliances with other key industry players, ensuring Siemens is well-placed in all scenarios.
- Prepare the organization for future project execution and management responsibilities, including ramping up a dedicated local team capable of taking on full operational duties post-project award.
- Lead team development efforts, ensuring the highest level of technical and project management expertise is achieved.
- Leverage Siemens’ longstanding position as the incumbent provider of advanced fire safety solutions for two existing terminals at Changi Airport, ensuring continuity in service and innovation for Terminal 5.
- Explore opportunities to enhance Siemens’ market position in building management solutions alongside fire safety operations.
- Ability to influence multiple internal and external stakeholders to an aligned outcome, for strategy, business model, technology partnership.
- Strong background in sales, business development, and customer engagement, particularly in the fields of fire safety, building automation, or other complex technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead frontline negotiations and influence key decision-makers within large infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience leading bid teams in large and complex project environments, ideally with consortium or partnership setups.
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems to deliver successful tender outcomes.
- Strong ability to develop competitive strategies and align them with customer needs, market dynamics, and Siemens’ portfolio strengths.
- Familiarity with Singapore’s infrastructure market, including regulatory and operational frameworks, as well as experience working with Chinese contractors, would be an advantage.
- Expertise in fire safety and building management systems, with a proven track record of delivering mission-critical projects.
