Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
Support the Global Communications Department in the operational and organizational area of our external communications activities.
We are seeking a Working Student (f/m/d) in Nuremberg, Erlangen or Munich in the “Operations & Organization” field for the Global Communications department at Siemens Digital Industries Software. A Working Student who is eager to delve into the operational heartbeat of Siemens supporting our global team.
In this role, you will support and drive operational processes such as organizing, planning, implementation, execution, and measurements for the Global Communications department to support our brand and business goals. This position also includes opportunities to collaborate with the rest of the Reputation and Thought Leadership team. A truly successful Working tudent in this role will find themselves in demand, leaving a lasting legacy through improved processes and impactful content within our team. This unique experience offers exposure to senior business leaders and the Siemens worldwide organization, providing a fantastic platform to develop interpersonal skills, business acumen, and strategic thinking.
What you will be doing
This role is instrumental in a variety of tasks including:
- Assisting with internal operations, including day-to-day activities, special projects, and events.
- Crafting and managing internal communications, such as newsletters and Viva Engage channels, to ensure our global teams stay connected and informed.
- Supporting our documentation processes.
- Tracking and reporting media coverage results.
- Working in a project management tool.
- Assisting team members with use of tools including YessPress, SharePoint, Cision, etc.
- Working alongside reference publishing.
- Helping with the monthly reporting.
- Supporting other department teams such as reputation and thought leadership, media team and the newsroom team.
What you will bring
We are seeking bright, adaptable, and highly motivated candidates
- Enrolled in a Master’s degree in Communications / Operations and Information or related field.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Technically proficient in MS Office 365 - An eagerness and ability to quickly learn new software tools and platforms (e.g., Cision, YessPress, Highspot, MS Power Apps, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Forms, – prior knowledge of any is a bonus!).
- Strong project management skills
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Comfortable with processing and analyzing data
- A genuine focus on understanding and solving business problems
- Analytical thinking, very strong organizational ability and process & result oriented
- Familiarity with analytic tools and project management tools is a plus
- Proactive, can-do attitude, desire to learn
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively
- Able to work in a multinational environment with employees from different cultures
- Willing to build a career in operations / communications
