We are a leading global software company dedicated to the world of computer aided design, 3D modeling and simulation— helping innovative global manufacturers design better products, faster! With the resources of a large company, and the energy of a software start-up, we have fun together while creating a world class software portfolio. Our culture encourages creativity, welcomes fresh thinking, and focuses on growth, so our people, our business, and our customers can achieve their full potential.

This role presents a significant opportunity to support multiple product segments within Siemens Digital Industries Software. As the SIM Product Communications Leader, you will drive the development and implementation of communication strategies across the Simulation (SIM) segment, ensuring clarity, consistency, and executive-level impact. This includes simplifying complex engineering, simulation, analytics, AI/ML, HPC, and cloud concepts for diverse audiences. The role will serve as the primary partner for internal and executive communications and coordinate external-facing materials across segments. While partnering directly with the Simulation Business Head and Segment Leader, the SIM Product Communications Leader will report to the Executive & Culture Communications team.

Executive Communications Support

  • Serve as the primary coordinator of executive communications, including external events (conferences, peer forums, customer engagements) and internal events (Learning Days, Town Halls, team messages).
  • Partner closely with the head of SIM Products to develop narratives that articulate the role of simulation, AI-driven insights, HPC acceleration, and cloud workflows in Siemens’ product vision.
  • Craft visually appealing and impactful presentations that convey complex ideas in a simple, clear manner such as multi-physics simulation workflows, analytics architectures, or cloud/hybrid deployment strategies.
  • Maintain a list of critical presentation needs and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
  • Act as the point of contact for communication support requests directed to the head of SIM.
  • Manage and strengthen the executive’s social media presence, emphasizing SIM innovation themes. (e.g., AI-enabled simulation, scalable compute, predictive engineering).

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with SIM segment peers—including Simulation & Test Solutions, AIDEC, product strategy, marketing, operations, shared services, and CoEs—to gather content, align messaging, and ensure technical accuracy. Work with DI SW functional partners such as Finance, People and Organization, Sales and Services, Strategy and Marketing, and Technology Office.
  • Understand key message requirements, objectives, and audience, and effectively communicate these messages to the market.
  • Conduct research on competitor positioning, market trends in simulation, AI/ML, HPC, and cloud, and emerging customer use cases to strengthen communication frameworks.

Cross-Segment Communication Alignment

  • Lead SIM cross-segment messaging to ensure consistent narratives around simulation, intelligence, compute scalability, and cloud-native enablement. Provide indirect guidance and support to SIM marketing leads and teams.
  • Develop templates to ensure a consistent 'look and feel' across all communication materials.
  • Coordinate the use of consistent terminology (e.g., maintaining a data dictionary of common terms).
  • Develop and maintain a central repository for curated content to support communication efforts.

Your Key Success Factors:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts (simulation workflows, AI/ML applications, HPC scaling, cloud architectures) into simple, concise, story-driven visuals. Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives.
  • Expertise in Microsoft tools, particularly PowerPoint and Teams/SharePoint.
  • Enthusiasm for the iterative process and achieving impactful results.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills at a program level.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience working across multiple segments or business units, preferably on a global scale, requiring both direct and indirect influence.
  • Strong knowledge of Simulation technologies, data analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning, high-performance computing, cloud, or adjacent engineering technology areas is a significant advantage.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with product marketing and analytics.
  • Experience working in the SIM/software industry (Data Analytics, AI/ML, HPC, Cloud).
  • Certification in communication, marketing, or related fields.
  • Degree or background in engineering
