Mission and Position headline:

·    Lead the Central Business Services (CBS) organization, and define and implement the CBS strategy, standards and guidelines within the area of responsibility.

·    Oversee, organize and coordinate CBS operations, including the assigned teams for Contract Finance (CF), Order Entry & Logistics (OEL), Order to Cash (OTC), Process Excellence and Customer Experience (PECE), as well as the relevant sub-departments.

·    Support the DX APJ Head of Finance to design, establish and execute the APJ shared services model, including the allocation and transfer of CBS activities to cost-efficient locations across the region.

·    Act as a key member of the global CBS function and an integral part of the Global CBS organization by engaging in strategic and tactical decision-making for global CBS activities, and by enabling best practice sharing across global CBS structures.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

·    Full accountability for the CBS organization across assigned Zones and Countries, including operational, cost, and quality performance.

·    Enable Contract Lifecycle Management within the Zones by ensuring the CBS CF organization provides relevant, accurate, and timely contract performance data to Sales and Finance.

·    Optimize the cost structure of the CBS organization by driving process efficiencies and productivity improvements.

·    Proactively align with relevant Zone and Country Management on cost and quality performance trends, as well as evolving business requirements.

·    Define and implement an internal and external quality KPI framework in alignment with the global CBS function.

·    Ensure delivery of agreed cost and quality KPIs for the CBS organization.

·    Drive close alignment with relevant Zone and Country management to support business objectives.

·    Define and execute initiatives to continuously improve customer experience.

·    Provide timely and accurate contract performance data to Zones and Countries.

·    Initiate and drive process efficiency and productivity improvements across CBS operations.

·    Allocate and transition activities to lower-cost countries, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations.

Qualifications and experience:

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, SCM/Logistics, Finance, or a related field.

·       Proven leadership experience (typically 12+ years) in Shared Services/GBS/CBS within a complex, matrixed organization.

·       Hands-on experience in setting up, implementing, and scaling global shared service models, including activity migration and operating model design.

·       Experience leading multi-functional operations in Order to Cash, Contract Finance, Order Management, and Process Excellence.

·       Strong background in Finance operations and/or end-to-end commercial processes.

·       Regional/global experience, preferably in Asia Pacific within regulated industries (e.g., Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Healthcare).

·       Good understanding of DX business, operational/logistical processes, and contract structures.

·       Experience with process digitalization initiatives.

·       Basic understanding of ARE and legal entity requirements.
