We are looking for a Project Manager – Tools & Services Rollout Manager

You’ll make a difference by: .

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end rollout of development toolchains, in-house platforms, and platform-as-a-service offerings across multiple Siemens business unit portfolios.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and PLMs to translate product roadmaps into executable rollout, adoption, and change-management plans.
  • Design scalable workflows, deployment models, and consumption patterns tailored to diverse engineering organizations and maturity levels.
  • Define and execute rollout strategies including pilot programs, phased deployments, migrations, and decommissioning of legacy tools.
  • Ensure compliance with Siemens IT security, data protection, and regulatory standards throughout the rollout lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Platform Engineering, SRE, IT, Security, and Business stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Drive stakeholder communication, expectation management, and executive reporting for rollout progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Measure and continuously improve rollout success using KPIs such as adoption rate, user satisfaction, delivery efficiency, and operational stability.
  • Skills Needed (Technical & Soft Skills):
  • Strong understanding of modern development toolchains (Observability, ALM) and their integrations.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills in complex, matrix-driven departments.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value and adoption strategies.
  • Experience working with PM@Siemens and SAFe frameworks for planning and execution.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Structured problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity and change.
  • Desired Skills (12+ Years of Relevant Experience)
  • 12+ years of experience in Tooling, or Enterprise IT transformation roles.
  • Hands-on exposure to ALM tools (Jira, Polarion), and observability stacks.
  • Experience designing and rolling out platform services at scale across global engineering organizations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native and on-prem deployment models, including Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Experience managing tool migrations and modernization initiatives (e.g., legacy to modern toolchains).
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to engineering environments (IT security, data protection, industry standards).
  • Proven ability to drive adoption through training, enablement, documentation, and change management.
  • Experience working in agile and scaled-agile environments, including PI planning and value stream alignment.
  • Strong analytical skills to define KPIs, track benefits realization, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exposure to product-centric operating models and platform-as-a-product mindset.
