This role is critical to the success of our global mobility program and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a global scale.

This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of data management principles and a proactive approach to risk management. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and geographies to drive continuous improvement in our data quality practices.

You are responsible for overseeing ISO and audit-related tasks, as well as managing data quality and compliance for Tax Operations on a global level.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track statutory tax deadlines and country-specific requirements to ensure data delivery to vendor(s) occurs on a timely basis and identify any outstanding issues with internal stakeholders and implement proactive monitoring and control mechanisms.
  • Evaluate and monitor regular IHRIS & vendor reports associated with tax compliance and data quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across different functions (e.g., Tax, HR, Payroll) and geographies to ensure alignment on data quality objectives and priorities. Build strong relationships and foster a culture of data quality across the GMR organization.
  • Address and drive for resolution of data quality issues via strong stakeholder management and partnership. Manage data quality projects and solve existing data quality issues in close alignment with GMR operational team leaders around the globe.
  • Incident Management, including overseeing the reporting and management of issues and incidents with root cause analysis.
  • Oversee the ISO certification tax process, ensuring compliant process descriptions with all necessary standards and requirements. Develop, maintain, and update ISO-related documentation, including internal policies, procedures, escalation protocols and records, as well as support for internal and external audit processes.
  • Provide training and support to GMR consultants on ISO standards and best practices to meet compliance. Conduct regular reviews to ensure continuous compliance with ISO standards.
  • Use audit results and feedback from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement within the GMR organization, enhancing overall compliance and quality in tax operations. Collaborate closely with GMR operational team leaders and teammates to implement global processes based on identified issues.
  • Provide regular updates to the department head and product owner on the status of data quality initiatives, key risks, and areas for improvement in tax operations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency and foster collaboration. Maintain an overview of ongoing challenges and areas needing improvement.
 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have a minimum of three (3) years' professional experience in data management in the areas of taxation and HR/payroll in an international environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in taxation, finance, accounting, or business administration is preferred.
  • Experience with ISO certification processes and audit support (for tax operations).
  • Strong understanding and experience of data quality management in a tax compliance context.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement data quality strategies and initiatives and manage issues effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate data quality risks.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
