We are looking for an Apprentice for the Smart Infrastructure Grid Software Business Unit who will be trained in 2 years as Junior Sales Finance Project Controller.

Your Challenge

As an Apprentice Finance Project Controller some of your main activities will be:

• Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording of such in appropriate ERP system ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus local Gaap requirements
• Ensure, together with the Legal department, the thorough review of all customer contract terms and conditions

·       Updating and verifying the project calculation analysing accounting data and participate in handover meetings

·       Prepare risk and opportunity assessments; develop and implement plan to mitigate risks

• Support in SLA (Service Level Agreement) and related controlling activities
• Prepare detailed monthly project forecast
• Support in Finance Project Controlling activities (Finance Project-oriented activities, Project Review Meeting, Forecast, Order Entry/Invoicing, etc)
• Provide accurate information to drive project profitability and other performance metrics through project reporting and analysis as required
• Analyzing the digital skills needed for the finance role in the future and supporting the digitalization
• Support internal audits like the implementation and control of Risk Internal Control standards and external
• Contributing to the digital initiatives of the company

Required entry qualifications:

• You have less than 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract
• You gained a finance internship experience
• You are fresh graduate degree in economics or Management Engineering.
• You have excellent command of Italian language as well as English
• Aspiration to develop a finance path and growth
• Genuine interest for digitalization
• Analytical and planning skills, risk management and ability to proactively propose improvement actions
• Knowledge of legal contract T&C will be a plus
• Knowledge of SAP will be a plus
• Ability to work in team and think about everything from the customer perspective
• You are a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element
• Openness to a temporary relocation in Italy or abroad
• European Work Permit
