The IT Test Manager leads and coordinates testing activities for Siemens Healthineers IT operating in a regulated healthcare environment, covering applications, infrastructure, and services.

The role ensures effective planning, execution, and governance of testing activities across multiple projects, securing quality delivery and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Define and maintain test plans, and test concepts aligned with project scope, standards, and timelines.
  • Plan testing activities across multiple projects and ensure resource readiness.
  • Ensure availability and readiness of test environments, tools, and test data.

Test Execution Oversight

  • Oversee creation and execution of test cases.
  • Monitor testing progress and ensure alignment with delivery milestones and quality standards.
  • Monitor and oversee defect management and resolution tracking.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal testing standards and regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Maintain audit-ready testing documentation and processes.
  • Apply structured quality and compliance practices throughout testing phases.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and guide testing teams to achieve delivery goals.
  • Coordinate activities between testers, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify, escalate, and support resolution of risks and issues.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular testing status and risk reporting.
  • Facilitate communication across distributed project teams.
  • Organize and lead global or virtual testing meetings when required.

Tools

  • Ensure effective use of testing and defect management tools.
  • Support adoption of automation where applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience

  • Strong backround  in Test Management or comparable roles.
  • Proven experience managing testing efforts across projects.
  • Experience managing testing teams and delivery coordination.

Education + Certification

  • Degree in IT, Software Engineering, Infrastructure, Testing, or comparable discipline, ISTQB certification is a plus

Domain & Compliance Knowledge

  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of documentation and audit requirements.
  • Audit exposure or quality-driven mindset preferred.

Testing & Delivery Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience in test planning, execution control, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Ability to manage parallel testing efforts.

Tools & Technical Skills

  • Practical experience with testing tools such as Azure DevOps, HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of test automation principles.

Communication & Leadership Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in international environments.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder communication and conflict resolution.
  • Effective team coordination and leadership capability.

*We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions. We carefully consider your professional qualifications and experience in our compensation package and/or when offering you other positions.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : starting from 3500 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
