Position Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Health Physician to join our team at the Kalwa TF Factory. This role is critical in ensuring workplace health and safety, providing medical support, and promoting health awareness among employees.
Qualifications
- Doctor with M.B.B.S AFIH qualification
- Fluency in English and Marathi preferred
- Additional training in ACLS, BLS,ATLS ,Epidemiology, Industrial Hygiene is preferred.
Experience
- Total: 7+ years
- Preferred: Experience in industrial medical centers.
- Additional: Exposure to hospitals/clinics
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Occupational Health
- Conduct daily medical OPD and manage workplace injuries/illnesses.
- Carry out pre-employment, periodic, and fitness-to-work medical examinations.
- Provide emergency response care and support ERT activities.
- Identify occupational diseases and initiate preventive measures.
Health & Safety Support
- Participate in workplace inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations.
- Provide medical input during incident investigations.
- Support emergency preparedness and mock drills.
- Provide support for Project site health camps.
Digital Health & Documentation
- Maintain data & digital records.
- Use EHS-HM systems for reporting and documentation.
- Prepare digital dashboards and health KPIs (absenteeism, chronic disease trends).
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with cybersecurity standards of the organization.
Wellbeing & Awareness
- Conduct health campaigns on NCDs, ergonomics, mental health, and lifestyle diseases.
- Provide counselling on stress, lifestyle, and chronic disease management.
Compliance
- Ensure statutory compliance under the Factories Act and State Rules.
- Prepare mandatory health reports for audits and regulatory submissions.
Laison
· Reporting to Regional Medical Officer and liaison with business colleagues as required for effective implementation of health-related initiatives in their respective locations, under advice from Regional Medical Officer
