Our Global Enterprise Customer’s team is looking for a dynamic Program Developer/Bid Manager for Building Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the offering phase and manage the entire proposal process for cross-border, multi-site programs with our Global customers. You'll be a central figure, working hand-in-hand with our country teams, customers, and external partners. This role offers a crucial opportunity to significantly impact our customers’ business development and strengthen key customer and partner relationships.
Your new responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements/needs and create a unique value proposition that goes beyond customer expectations
- Ensure all strategic milestones/review points concerning technical feasibility and standardization, devise and validate Proof of Concepts with Business Line’s subject matter experts
- Organize bid kick off meetings, drumbeat calls, and communicate time and task schedule
- Define the right delivery models for each project in alignment with the local delivery teams
- Actively promote the Program Management value-add, and make sure costing is ensured and part of boundary conditions
- Foster strong collaboration and teamwork within the bid team
- Drive organization approvals (e.g. Risk Management, Controlling, Legal) during the offering phase (incl. RFx) with full responsibility across the entire process (LoA process)
- Secure communication and contractual, and technical harmonization with involved countries in collaboration with Enterprise Success Managers
Your skills and experience
- Several years of operational experience as Program Developer/bid manager for complex and cross-border solutions projects; preferably within the building industry, specifically the pharma or datacenter vertical
- Acknowledged senior bid manager with strong program development capabilities, able to build trust with internal and external partners across multiple business units and geographies
- Experience in working with senior management in an intercultural environment
- Capacity to facilitate a cooperative approach with cross-functional teams
- Well organized, structured and used to work in an international and complex environment
- Proactive and positive attitude, adept at effectively managing stressful situations
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills in English. Any additional European language would be a plus
- Willingness to travel as required
Location: qualified candidates require a valid work permit for Zug/Switzerland. Relocation is not planned for this role.
