Join our Laboratory Diagnostics Solution Service Team as Solution Implementation Engineer in South West Europe Zone (Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain) and become a key player in the #Healthineers community!

As a Solution Implementation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and retention while upholding compliance standards throughout the implementation phase.


Key responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide support on the installation phase.
  • Preventive support and knowledge sharing: Delivering support activities to prevent problems through sharing knowledge, proactively managing mandatory adjustments/implementation changes, organizing good practice and technical exchange meetings and related activities.
  • Maintenance: Provide the corrective and preventative measures on our products.
  • Troubleshooting: Responding to the most difficult instrument problems.
  • Training: Deliver training for our international CSE or any other appropriate target groups. 

Key strategic priorities 

  • Compliance: Make sure the instruments will be installed in quality, time and cost according to the Siemens Healthineers guideline and PM project plan.
  • Process optimization: Focusing on installation procedure and provide feedback to improve the quality of the system and installation process.
  • Handoff: Handover to the local team after the installation tasks have been completed.

  • You have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • You have sound analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • You are flexible in adapting to changing situations, customer needs and market conditions.
  • You show communicative and team-related behavior as well as initiative and clear customer focus. 
  • You are able to multitask and prioritize a variety of concurrent activities.
  • You enjoy working in an international team and context. From 70% to 85% of travel is required.
  • You are business-fluent in English both written and verbally. Knowledge of other languages will be a plus.
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc.) and you have a digital-first approach.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Mechatronics or Bio-medical field (or any other comparable technical education would be a preference) or equivalent previous experience.
  • You have an excellent technical understanding of In-Vitro Healthcare Diagnostics.
  • Working experience in the in-vitro Diagnostics industry, preferably with but not limited to Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics / Atellica / CI-1900  is an advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (70-85%) in SWE zone and sometimes abroad.
  • asic knowledge of AI is a plus.
