Siemens Cybersecurity is a team of dedicated security professionals with the mission to secure Siemens’s IT, OT and products worldwide. Siemens Cybersecurity includes the Threat Intelligence team, which monitors the current Cyber Threat Landscape for Siemens. Based on that know-how and the latest technological trends, Cyber Threat Intelligence provides useful and actionable information in a timely manner to stakeholders such as Siemens CERT and Siemens Cyber Defence Center to support in the tactical, operational and strategical decision making. 

Join us to become a valuable member of the Vulnerability Handling and Product Incident Response team. 

You’ll make an impact by 
  • Analyzing reported zero-day vulnerabilities, findings from penetration tests, developer vulnerability reports, or alleged compromises for Siemens products and solutions
  • Providing input and assisting vulnerability task forces in prioritizing, handling, and remediating security issues
  • Drafting security advisories to inform Siemens customers about vulnerabilities in Siemens products and how to remediate them
  • Work on understanding future developments in vulnerability handling and drive your own topics in this context
  • Extend and maintain the tools and frameworks used in our team for vulnerability handling
  • Attending relevant conferences (Blackhat, RSA, BSIDES, S4, etc...)
  • Being part of the team responsible for EU Cyber Resilience Act (EU CRA) reporting obligations;

Education
  • Successful Bachelor degree in computer science, ideally with a focus on IT-Security

Experience & Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the field of IT Security
  • Proven skills and a solid track record in hacker techniques, penetration testing, security tools, and/or IT forensic, e.g., due to capture-the-flag participations
  • Distinct knowledge of information technologies and operating systems
  • Profound technological experience in IT- and OT-Security, ideally in a PSIRT
  • Proficiency in software development and network administration

Languages
Excellent command of English and Portuguese, ideally also German
