The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of todays and tomorrow’s power grid!

We are seeking a PMO Manager - AIS Systems within our Electrification & Automation (EA) business who will have the vision and leadership to drive excellence within the Systems Department as part of the Project Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for a team of Project Managers who will be supporting multiple systems projects. This position can be based hybrid within Raleigh, NC.

You’ll make an impact as you:

  • Lead and develop a team of AIS Systems Project Managers, ensuring alignment on expectations, promoting proactive growth-focused conversations, encouraging daily learning, and recognizing employee achievements.
  • Promote safety as a top priority by identifying and mitigating risks across the organization
  • Coordinate project planning and resource allocation, overseeing overall planning to ensure projects are well-resourced and aligned with business goals.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive process improvements and deliver successful outcomes for our customers.
  • Maintain proactive communication with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Oversee budget planning for your team, ensuring adequate support and staffing to achieve business targets.
  • Monitor the AIS Systems portfolio continuously, providing support to Project Managers as needed to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards for Project Management processes, promoting excellence in project execution.
  • Initiate process improvements and create an optimal project management workflow environment.
  • Resolve resource conflicts as an escalation point, working in partnership with PMO and commercial execution teams.
  • Lead project review meetings to monitor project performance, ensuring projects are on track for success.
  • Evaluate and control project performance by continuously tracking metrics against budget and schedule.
  • Review and understand project contractual obligations, including change orders, liquidated damages, claims processes, and specifications.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience leading functional teams within a PMO scope.
  • 3+ years of experience in medium voltage switchgear.
  • PMP certification, PM@Siemens Certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience capable of driving organization to meet goals, motivate employees through challenges, and provide support to excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate expectations, provide clear and honest feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate results to varying levels of executive management, sales, operations, as well as customers.
  • Self-motivated with customer orientation and clear growth mind-set.

The pay range for this position is $102,459 - $175,644 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
