Scope of Position
The successful candidate is a technical expert, who is responsible for fostering growth and generating Sales bookings for Medium Voltage products from External Channels (Panel Builders, OEMs, Distributors) across the United States. The following responsibilities and skills describe the requirements for this position:
- The BDM works in close collaboration with the Siemens Account Managers in the, EIS CP&C Sales and IIS Sales (Regional Sales Organizations) , leveraging the reach and relationship of the account managers to make a strong technical pitch for the Medium Voltage products and thereafter ramping up the order income . The BD Manager also works on identifying new prospects either independently or working in close collaboration with the Regional Sales Organizations – Driving Order intake in the US on a Monthly, quarterly and Annual basis
- Develop a Go to Market model of profitable Sales through Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Panels builders/ OEMs, strategically building Business with Channels, by driving Homologation/standardization of MV Breakers.
- Technical sales activities involving such matters as proposal development, pricing development, risk assessment and technical sales strategies, along with Coordination with the Factory in MEXICO on Logistics to keep a close eye and ensuring E2E support, driving improvement in internal processes such as Pricing Tools and integration of Channels on Siemens tools
- Participate in account planning activities with Siemens Sales to ensure the best technical solution strategies for growth are established and implemented through value proposition development.
- Support Product Life-Cycle Management process (PLM) in creating technical requirement documentation based on global and local market needs for development or adaptation of future products, solutions, and systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers and develop associated recommendations for ongoing business growth.
- Leading Strategic and Pricing Discussions with HQ within the Siemens guidelines of ethics and conduct to maximize Market Share for MV Products
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 5+ years of total experience in the domain of Medium Voltage
- 3-5 years’ experience in the design and configuration of Medium Voltage Products and systems, domain expert in MV Breakers and assembly is an added advantage
- 1-3 Digital Sales and Marketing Skills to expand reach and build brand recognition
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- English language skills - written and verbal
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- A business management degree is an added advantage
- Advanced communication skills to lead vision plans for the US
- Ability to work in Teams laterally and engage with management for engaging and influencing with customers to maximize Sales
- Strong customer management and relationship skills across all levels to have high brand recognition for Siemens with customers

The pay range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006 annually with a target incentive of 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
